About me: My name is Sara, she/her pronouns, and I chose to become a therapist because I believe that learning about ourselves as individuals in the contexts of family, culture, friendships, spirituality, physical environments, political environments is our work as human beings on this planet, in this universe. Learning to accept all of the light and shadow in our lives, understanding that our thoughts are not who we are but are reflections of perceptions of our present moment and of our memories, can enable us to grow in ways that will allow us to engage with others in this world as we wish.

Values that I bring to the therapeutic relationship include curiosity, imagination, and compassion. I employ listening, curiosity, and acceptance, and playfulness in the therapy session.

My therapeutic practice is informed by evidence-based research.

What it’s like in session with me: In our work together, I believe my purpose as a therapist is to create a space in which you can find your answers and define what truly engaging in life will look like to you. I operate from the belief that your life is unique and valuable and that my part in your work is to support positive changes in your relationship with yourself and with others.
